John started piano lessons in the 2nd grade, played keyboards or bass guitar with several 80's bands covering the Cars, Brian Adams, .38 Special, Grand Funk Railroad, etc. In the 90's, he played piano for a country group called the Overnite Success, covering Alan Jackson, Alabama, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, etc. The last ten years John has played keyboards, guitar, or bass guitar in several church worship bands around Bartlett, TN...It is a treat to have John as a part of The Express.
